Rudram 11 - KZN April 2025

As the sun rose over the Indian Ocean, chanters from Tongaat, Phoenix, Balito, and Umhlanga boarded the bus on the journey for the fourth in the series of Rudram 11 organised by Vedas4all in KZN. With one stop in Clare Estate, more chanters joined, and we were on our way to the Andra Sabha in Newholmes, Pietermaritzburg. The overwhelming warm welcome on arrival, a quick breakfast, and we were ready for another day of spiritual vibrations.

While we have developed a wonderful momentum of regular chanters, we were fortunate to have grown our lead chanters pool, with a few new lead chanters joining us for the first time. The leading of the opening prayers by two young children was certainly Divine wisdom working through us, melting the hearts of all present.

The last round was positively energetic, creating vibrations that will remain with all present for a long time. We were ecstatic to hear that the youth from Pietermaritzburg were keen to learn Vedas and the RUDRAM 11 offering further served as an inspiration to entrench this initiative.

After the chanting ended, the entire congregation sat in silence to allow the spiritual vibrations to settle in before taking a group photograph.

Another beautiful Rudram 11 completed, and we are all looking forward to the next Rudram 11 on 3 May 2025 at the Indian Consulate in Durban.
