Shruti is a Sanskrit word meaning "that which is heard" and relates to how the sacred Vedas was traditionally passed on in ancient times, from those with insight and knowledge to the keen learner.
This Rudram 11 saw the convergence of chanters to Sai Shruti in the north coast town of KwaDukuza. Based in the middle of a residential community, this was a perfectly beautiful and serene setting to once again 'hear' the sacred chants of the Rudram being recited 11 times. The vibrations were felt in Sai Shruti and spread across the valley into the local community. Members of Sai Shruti were most grateful for the vibrations and energy created.

At the Sathya Sai Centre, spirituality is not confined to worship alone — it is lived through seva (selfless service), satsang (company of truth), and bhajan (devotional singing). The Rudram 11 added another dimension to this sacred rhythm of life — aligning the Vedic vibrations of Shiva consciousness with Sai Baba’s message of unity of all faiths.
As the chants echoed through the hall, the energy of peace and divine love filled every heart. The Rudram 11 at Sai Shruti was not only a sacred ritual but also a celebration of oneness — a living expression of Bhagawan’s timeless teaching:
“There is only one religion — the religion of Love; there is only one God — and He is Omnipresent.”
In that spirit, the event transcended boundaries of tradition, uniting all who attended in a shared vibration of devotion, humility, and divine remembrance.
As it has become traditional, the entire congregation sat in silence at the end of the chanting to absorb the energy and to allow it to flow into the environment.
Another Rudram 11 was held and felt by all present.
