Highlights of 2024 & a very Happy 2025

At the outset, we wish you and your respective families a very blessed, divine and sublime New Year 2025!

With the Divine blessings of Veda Mata , 2024 was an eventful year filled with various Veda activities and programmes , we offer gratitude to each and everyone of you for your amazing enthusiasm and dedication in learning, chanting, churning, spreading and fostering the Vedas .

Daily Vedas at 05h00 on Zoom:

It’s wonderful to see so many start the day with the Vedas which provides clarity , peace of mind and energy for the body, mind and spirit.

On 20 April 2025 the Daily Vedas at 05h00 will celebrate 5 years 🎂 of continuous Daily Veda chanting - thank you all for your amazing dedication to join and participate in this seva of the Veda!

Africa’s first Ati Rudra Maha Yajnam in Verulam , KZN April 2024:

This was truly a historic moment in the continent’s history which saw 1,200 participants and visitors from 15 countries come together for 10 days for a mass peace prayer in chanting and spreading the power of the sacred syllables of the Sri Rudram 14,641 times for universal peace and harmony ! Introduction to Vedas Workshops in Western Cape , Gauteng and KZN:

With the positive waves 🌊 and energy of the ARMY , people around the country of South Africa wanted to know more about the Vedas ; and the Introduction to Vedas series took place in the 3 provinces which went through the beauty , benefits and technique of chanting the Vedas

Beginners Veda Classes:

Around 280 students joining from 10 countries wishing to learn the Vedas received training from 12 Vedas tutors each week virtually. The 6 month beginners course syllabus ensured the students could have a solid foundation of chanting Vedas with the correct intonation and pronunciation and learn a few chants such as the Narayana Upanishad , Mantra Pushpam , Sivopasana , Durga Suktam etc

Ganesha Visarjan in Western Cape , Gauteng and KZN:

Based on the story of Sri Veda Vyasa and Lord Ganesha - this prayer saw devotees connect to the Master of Senses Lord Ganesha by creating a clay / mud of His form on Ganesha Chaturthi and participating in a 10 day sadhana of chanting Vedic hymns such as the Ganapati Prarthana , Atharva Siersham and seed sounds such as Om Gam Ganopataye Namaha 108 times daily; and on the 10th day known as Anant Chaturdashi immersing the idol into a water body.

VedaRasa Webinars:

The sweetness of the Vedas is felt within the heart and the nectar is experienced through the deeper meaning of each syllable. We were blessed to have a few speakers share their thoughts , wisdom and experiences for various chants which broadened our understanding and appreciation of these hymns.

Rudram 11 in South Africa:

Rudram Ekadasha (chanting the Sri Rudram 11 times) is a powerful prayer to spread healing energy collectively ; this has commenced very well and will continue in the new year across the 3 provinces and occur at various spiritual and multi faith venues
