Rudram 11 - Western Cape, November 2025

A Fitting Finale for 2025

Of all the places to complete the year’s final Rudram 11, the Rylands Sai Centre felt divinely orchestrated.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba championed unity of all religions, emphasising that the divine truth is one, though the names and paths may be many. His message of:“There is only one religion — the religion of Love.”resonates deeply with the spirit of the Rudram, which invokes the Divine in every aspect of creation.

As we reflected upon the many sacred spaces we visited in 2025, the Sai Centre stood as the perfect final chapter — a reminder that all faiths flow toward the same ocean of divinity.

Honouring Bhagawan’s Vedic Mission

Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s life mission encompassed three powerful pillars related to the Vedas:

  • Vedodharana – to hold and uplift the Vedas,

  • Veda Rakshana – to protect and safeguard them,

  • Veda Poshana – to nourish, strengthen, and spread them.

The Rudram 11 held at Rylands was a humble offering in line with this divine mission — a collective expression of gratitude, devotion, and purpose. Every mantra chanted, every “Namah” uttered, contributed to the ongoing global effort of keeping Vedic wisdom alive, vibrant, and accessible to all.

A Gathering of Peace, Love, and Service

The atmosphere at Rylands Sai Centre was serene yet powerful — filled with the fragrance of devotion, the glow of unity, and the gentle strength of collective prayer. Devotees and community members joined with open hearts, transcending labels and identities, embodying the Sai principle:

“Love All, Serve All. Help Ever, Hurt Never.”

The chanting carried a unique sweetness — not only because it marked the final Rudram 11 of the year, but because it encapsulated the year-long journey of building bridges across faiths and communities.

A Year of Oneness, A Moment of Grace

The Rudram 11 at Rylands was more than an event — it was a moment of grace. A celebration of unity. A reminder that the Divine pervades all paths. A humble closing to a year dedicated to spreading the vibrations of peace, purification, and universal harmony.

As we step forward, may the blessings of this sacred gathering continue to inspire us to uphold the teachings of unity, service, and love.
