As a buildup towards the Ati Rudra Maha Yajna in 2024, Vedas4all is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding and knowledge of Sri Rudram. We are honored to host Brother Sekhar Boddupalli, a seasoned Vedic scholar, for a Sri Rudram workshop in August 2023. The workshop will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn the significance and inner meaning of Sri Rudram, which forms the center of the Ati Rudra Maha Yajna, and will also touch upon the importance of pronunciation and intonation during chanting.

 

The Sri Rudram is a hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered one of the most powerful prayers. It is believed to bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual blessings to those who chant it. This workshop provides an opportunity for attendees to learn the prayer in its proper form and gain a deeper understanding of its significance and meaning.

 

This workshop is not only for those preparing for the Ati Rudra Maha Yajna, but for anyone interested in learning about the Vedas and deepening their spiritual knowledge.

 

Dr. Sekhar Boddupalli has been in the Sai fold for over three decades, during which, he also served the Sai Organization as an office bearer in Central San Jose for 7 years. With Baba's Blessings and Grace, he has conducted several Satsangs, which expand on the practical application of Bhagwan's divine life and messages, specifically  

the practical application of Vedas in our daily lives. He has conducted these Satsangs all over the US and other parts of the world, including Canada, South Africa, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Croatia and India. His Satsangs captivate the interest of all due to the unique style of blending Swami's Teachings, his experiences in the Divine Omnipresence along with quotes from the scriptural texts of all religions.  Dr. Sekhar was also instrumental in conducting and participating in six Ati Rudra Maha Yajna to date; notably one in Croatia in 2018 and most recently in Sacramento in April 2022. With Bhagawan’s grace, Dr. Sekhar holds a PhD in Biochemistry and is currently a member of Sacramento Sai Center. During this trip to South Africa, Brother Sekhar will be holding workshops on the inner meaning of Sri Rudram and the practical values it imparts for living that is appealing to devotees of all faiths.
